Hello
I can't figure out how to measure the area of a polygon. I select area => info => polygon area. And I don't see the dimension anywhere. Where am I making a mistake here?

Re: Area
Hi,
A good advice for beginning users is to display the Status Bar (GS).
After menu Info .. Polygonal Area (IR) QCAD ask you to indicate the corners (vertices) of the polygon to measure up.
Polygonal Area reference
Another important Toolbar is the Options Toolbar (Usually just above the drawing area).
The current active tool will display its options on that.
In this case:
- Add measurement on drawing
- Text Height
If you have a certain polyline in your drawing (With straight and/or bulging segments) then there are two options.
- Activate menu Info .. Polyline Area (II) and then indicate the polyline shape in question. Polyline Area reference
- Select (only) the polyline and see the Property Editor and then look for the Area property.
