Quick intro. I'm using QCAD/CAM infrequently and mainly as a complete 2D CAD package for work. Sometimes also for a little private stuff.
Doing predominantly pretty simple stuff like stencils that we then have lasered from sheet metal. Recently I also made some contours for 3D-Cad (FreeCAD).
Haven't gotten into the CAM functionality yet, though I might someday for my K40 laser, for which I use Inkscape at the moment.
I really like the software, used a very dated copy of Intellicad 2D before. Once I got the hang of using it, it made quick work of everything I threw at it.
Well worth the price of admission.
