Way back in the 1980's, I enrolled in a course for AutoCAD. I was a CAD draughtsman for about 6 years.

I have also dabbled in Sketchup for my hobby of making wooden toys. It's great for making presentations for architectural designs if you are using the full version.

I have been using version 17, also called Sketchup Make.

However, now I want to produce full scale drawing for my other hobby of designing and building model aircraft.

Very pleased to discover QCAD.

I have been watching the excellent tutorials and so far, I am very impressed.
