x-ref support

As someone who uses this a lot, I would like to see the x-ref support. Also, one of my clients requires use of x-refs.

This request is by far the most popular on the feature request page. The primary developer of QCAD appears to be the one to create that specific request ticket, ten years ago
. This makes me assume it is a formidable feature to develop on the back end, and I believe the number of people working on development is pretty small, so maybe it will happen one day but we'll have to be patient.

Yes, Xref support would be very useful, together with Viewport layer control, enhances draw once, change once.
