I would like to have a feature where if you pressed the Shift key during an operation the cursor would act orthoganally.
This is a feature common to a lot of graphics/ CAD packages. Would certainly speed up operations.
I know that there are features similar to this in toolbars. What I am requesting would not replace these commands.

Re: Shift Key= Orthagonally Constrained
In QCAD you can use the Alt or Option key for this.
Shift is used to move the start or endpoint of a line without changing its angle (extending / shortening).
