The first link for the ZIP file is funcional (first post):

The second link for the fixed JS script is not (third post):

The error we get is:
"The change you wanted was rejected.
Maybe you tried to change something you didn’t have access to."

This would make any posted JS script not accessible.
That may be true for downloading or even be related to uploading JS files and other types.

In this specific case I had a copy and could describe how to fix the original Ucs.js script.

FS#2712: Text: question marks between asian glyphs if font does not support zero-width space

Hello, I am a QCAD Professional user.
Since version 3.32.5, multi-byte characters (e.g., Japanese) become garbled when entering multi-line text (Rich Text).
This issue can be reproduced using QCAD's unicode line font. It worked perfectly in version 3.32.4.

Steps to reproduce:

Start the "Text" command.

Uncheck "Simple Text".

Select the standard line font unicode.

Enter multi-byte characters (e.g., 富士山).

Actual Result:

Unwanted question marks are inserted (e.g., ?富?士?山?).
Please see the attached screenshots comparing the correct behavior in v3.32.4 and the bug in v3.32.6.

Expected Result:

Characters should display correctly as 富士山 without question marks.

Environment:

QCAD Pro: 3.32.5 - 3.32.6

OS: Windows 11 64-bit

1) open an new file "Unnamed"
2) open a 2nd file with one element (e.g. rectangle) and select rectangle
(use test1.dxf - attached)
3) go back to 1st tab with "Unnamed" file by click on the tab
4) close 2nd file by clicking "X" on the tab
==⇒ QCAD will close without further notice

FS#2706: File > SVG Export: Scaled viewports fail to inversely scale linetype patterns

Linetype patterns (e.g., dashed or dotted lines) are tied to the viewport’s scale. When a viewport is zoomed in or out, the visual length of the dashes scales proportionally with the geometry.

Expected Behavior: Linetype patterns should scale inversely to the viewport scale. A dashed line should maintain its intended visual density (appearance) regardless of the viewport’s magnification level. This also matches the behavior of print preview / printing / PDF export.

Sometimes the forum is inaccessible for minutes… or even hours.

Nesting cannot place any parts if margins are relatively large compared to sheet width or height (>5%).
